Well I did not reread my
In the Time of the Butterflies post to see which vocabulary I did or did not use, so in the most recent blog I use many of the same words. However, it was all part of my plan to truly understand the vocabulary by using it frequently (am i beguiling you yet Mrs. Abrams? hehe) No really though, I think it will help me on the SATs. I sound like an academically-obsessed schoolgirl, but maybe we all have a little of that in us. All students
empathize with other students and understand the devotion that it takes to achieve good grades. As much as we may want to
abrogate the law that enforces our mandatory education (until the age of 16?), not many people actually drop out. We might be
saturnine after we come back from break, or
garrulous when it comes to complaining about our work load, but in the end education is obviously a necessity, as well as a
supplement to our resumés. As much as it can increase job wages, in truth education is the
crux of a job application, and greatly aids in determining whether or not someone gets a job. Education creates
cachet. And that my friends, was my relatively
ephemeral and
teacher-like speech.
Sincerely,
Burgeoning Blogger
